HOW SPONSORSHIP HELPS SKORR FULFILL ITS MISSION:

Funds go towards the following as an example:

Matching funds for grants: Most grants include a matching component ranging from 20% - 50% of the granted amount. For example, if the club receives $15,000 from the state to maintain a section of trail, we may be required to provide an additional $15,000 of funds raised by the club in order to receive the state’s funds. Your support will help us provide matching funds for grants as we continue to maintain world class trails in the Southern Kettles.
Tools / machinery: Trail construction and maintenance is capital-intensive work. We try to keep our volunteers equipped with the right tools to get the work done in an effective manner. There are also costs that go with maintaining and replenishing the club's machinery.
Workday lunch/supplies: Trail maintenance days
Hosting trail events: Like - Global Majority Mountain Bike Summit, Teen Trail Corps Workday, Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League - NICA team practices, Fall Color Festival
Web and Social Media presence: Providing trail information including, membership and sponsorship opportunity, trail status, workday and special event notification
