Earth Day with The Hive

  • The Hive Taproom w2463 County Road ES East Troy, WI, 53120 United States (map)

What better way to spend Earth Day than to be outside, enjoying Mother Nature while improving the mountain bike trails! Our partner, The Hive Taproom, a fellow 1% for the Planet member, will be joining us to work on the John Muir mountain bike trails. We have made tremendous progress this spring due to the erratic weather and look forward to polishing them up as the season fast approaches. That can only happen with your help!

Come join us starting at 8am. Meet at the Pavilion located at N9097 County Road H Whitewater, WI 53190 and we’ll break into groups so we can tackle the areas that need attention. Following working in the woods, we’ll head over to The Hive starting at 12:30pm for a deliciously refreshing beverage and lunch provided by SKORR.. The Hive is providing 1 glass of their incredible session mead for each person that comes out to help and SKORR will provide a mixture of brats and pizza in appreciation of all your hard work! Please, join us for a day celebrating our planet followed by great food, drink, and conversation.

People of all ages welcome! Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We follow the NICA guidelines as it relates to minors using tools. You can find those here: https://wisconsinmtb.org/teen-trails-corps/

We have a plethora of tools but feel free to bring your favorite loppers or hand pruners
Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing.
